Overview
A “project” refers to a group of activities designed and managed in a coordinated way to advance result(s) set forth in a Regional or Country Development Cooperation Strategy (hereinafter referred to as “CDCS”) and ultimately foster lasting gains along a country’s or region’s Journey to Self-Reliance. Through a project approach, Missions can create synergies among complementary activities that generate higher-level results than achievable through the sum of their individual performances. In addition, Missions can leverage the wide range of partnering approaches or mechanisms at the Agency’s disposal more strategically to strengthen local actors, institutions, and systems for greater self-reliance.
