USAID/Yemen is delivering targeted programming to improve the lives of Yemeni people. Complementing USAID’s massive country-wide humanitarian effort, USAID/Yemen development programs are achieving impressive results, including supporting the establishment and implementation of sound fiscal and monetary policy and procedures, expanding economic opportunities for the most vulnerable Yemenis, increasing the availability of essential health, education, water and sanitation services, improving governance, engaging communities to address community-level sources of conflict, and safeguarding human rights.
