Overview
This Chapter sets forth the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) policies and procedures for applying cost principles to the evaluation of proposals and the preparation and administration of USAID-financed country contracts. The Chapter primarily outlines cost principles to be used in cost-reimbursement-type contracting, but these principles should also be employed in the amendment and termination of fixed-price contracts which require costing elements.
