USAID’S LEPP provides access to federal surplus property on behalf of the American people to communities in developing nations to strengthen the outcomes of humanitarian aid and development programs. LEPP supports sustainable, locally driven development endeavors and promotes U.S. international public diplomacy efforts through productive partnerships with host governments and local institutions.

LEPP is managed by USAID’s American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA), which is part of the Bureau for Inclusive Growth, Partnerships, and Innovation’s Local, Faith, and Transformative Partnerships (LFT) Hub.
