In fiscal year 2022 (FY 22) LEPP successfully transferred over $32 million worth of federal surplus property to 17 countries where USAID provides humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and development assistance.The property transferred included medical, dental, and lab equipment; hygiene supplies; personal protection equipment (PPE); computers and cellular phones; and clothing items. Faith-based partner organizations accounted for approximately 72 percent of these transfers.The surplus property donated supports global health systems strengthening, humanitarian assistance, and educational programs.
