Sixty-seven million children missed routine vaccinations between 2019 and 2021.
While immunization coverage has started rebounding, over 14 million children
around the world still did not receive a single vaccine in 2022. Vaccines are one
of the most effective investments to prevent child deaths, and they are best
administered as part of a strong health system. USAID partners with Gavi, the
Vaccine Alliance (Gavi) to ensure children everywhere receive lifesaving vaccinations.
