Entrepreneurship and Small Business Support
This initiative empowers youth and women entrepreneurs as well as small enterprises in Guinea by offering comprehensive support. It includes training and educational programs, facilitating access to finance, providing assistance in accessing markets and networking opportunities, and offering technical consultation services. These resources aim to assist small businesses, youth, and women entrepreneurs in overcoming obstacles, optimizing their operations, and strengthening their competitive edge.
Trade and Investment Promotion
Through the West Africa Trade and Initiative program, USAID helps Guinean SMEs access regional and international markets by providing financial assistance, support for market research, export promotion, trade facilitation, and compliance with regional international standards and regulations.
Energy Access
Through the Health Electrification and Telecommunications Alliance initiative, USAID helps bolster the well-being and resilience of rural communities in Guinea by facilitating the electrification and digital connectivity of off-grid health facilities in partnership with energy service providers and telecommunication companies. This initiative seeks to enhance health service delivery, ultimately fostering healthier communities.
Environment and Biodiversity
In partnership with the private sector, USAID supports the conservation and sustainable management of coastal ecosystems, this initiative aims to mitigate climate change, protect biodiversity, and enhance resilience to environmental challenges and livelihoods in Guinea's coastal regions.
