USAID works to build a stable and economically viable Haiti. U.S. assistance focuses on improving health and education outcomes, advancing economic and food security, and improving the independence and accountability of government institutions. Throughout the years, USAID has also provided support to mitigate the impact of natural disasters and periods of political instability.
