2023 Annual Report

From the Mission Director

I am pleased to present the 2023 United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Indonesia annual report. This report highlights the results we achieved over the past year through our productive partnerships with the national and local governments, local leaders, the private sector, civil society, and other donors.

The theme of this year’s annual report, “Working Together for a Brighter Future,” underscores the collaborative spirit that is essential to our work. At USAID, we believe that partnerships are the cornerstone of sustainable development, as we continue to support Indonesia’s journey to become an advanced, just, prosperous, and self-reliant Indo-Pacific partner.

I am immensely proud of the progress we have made together to advance Indonesia’s development goals—and excited for the results we are still working toward.
