Ivan partnered with two friends, Kevin and Kenny Soewondo, and set to work on a scheme to market Javanese farmers’ high-quality, distinctive coffee overseas. He learned that farmers can raise their revenue 10 percent by growing export-quality, premium coffee. The partners decided to focus on building the farmers’ skills, marketability, and environmental sustainability.

 “Our goal is to sell more coffee and increase the number of farmers we impact here in Indonesia,” said Ivan.
