USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) is pleased to announce the Locally-Led Humanitarian Assistance Prize Competition 2024: Women-Led and Women’s Rights Organizations Making a Difference.
The Locally-Led Humanitarian Assistance Prize Competition is an opportunity to recognize innovative approaches to humanitarian assistance by women-led organizations (WLOs) and women’s rights organizations (WROs). Recognizing work already completed or underway, this competition will be open for organizations registered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Guatemala, Haiti, Iraq, Mali, and Ukraine, or for those who can provide strong justification as to why they were not able to register in those countries.
This prize competition is funded by USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and is being managed in partnership with USAID’s Exploratory Programs and Innovation Competitions (EPIC) team and the Innovative Design, Execution, And Acceleration Support (IDEAS) mechanism.
BHA is proud to offer one grand prize award of $250,000 USD and five additional prizes worth $150,000 USD each.
All documents describing the competition and how to submit your information will be provided in English, French, Spanish, Iraqi Arabic, and Ukrainian. Submissions by competitors will be accepted in these same languages. Deadline for submissions is November 12, 2024, at Eastern Standard Time (EST).
