March 4, 2024 - Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia Erin McKee and US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier met with 35+ Kosovan women leaders in celebration of International Women' Day/Women's History Month at a reception hosted by Ambassador Hovenier to highlight the efforts of these women to foster greater equity in society.

March 4, 2024 - Assistant Administrator McKee while in Kosovo visited HVPrint. This small business is run by Gresa Tahiri, one of 50 business women who have received grants from the USAID Inclusive Economic Engagement Activity. Over 500 women-owned businesses have benefited from this activity through technical assistance, B2Bs, and networking events.

March 4, 2024 - AA McKee visitied Red Diamond farm run by Slavica Djokic. Small producers like Slavica are making a positive change in Kosovo. Products like goji berry are finding markets in Kosovo and the region. Supported by USAID, women and minority owned businesses are diversifying Kosovo’s markets.
