The purpose of the INFRAWASH activity  is to provide construction oversight services in support of the water pipe network expansion in Voinjama and Sanniquellie.  Additionally, the activity will provide WASH infrastructure services to 24 selected health facilities in Lofa, Bong and Nimba counties.

Current Activities

  • Provide overall management and support to the network expansion infrastructure activities
  • Review, verify and vet, technical design drawings and evaluate cost proposed
  • Provide construction oversight, and advise USAID accordingly
  • Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders involved in the activity

Accomplishments to Date

  • Reviewed and approved technical designs and cost estimates for WASH infrastructure in 24 clinics
  • Built local capacity for the solar sector

Planned Outcomes

  • Increase access to safely managed water supply for more than 7,000 beneficiaries; and
  • Improve access to WASH services in beneficiaries coming to 24 clinics for outpatients and inpatient care
