Alemerce is an Indigenous entrepreneur who rescued the piripiri, a medicinal herb that grows in the jungle, as a way to preserve the peace of her community by promoting legal cultivation, avoiding deforestation and promoting a more sustainable and promising future.
She launched the brand ININ RAO in 2019 to save and propagate endangered plants and with USAID and Cedro support she received financial and marketing training to enhance her venture and increase her income.
