PRIVATE SECTOR PARTNERSHIPS TO ADVANCE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT GOALS
At USAID, we recognize that working with the private sector is a necessity and seek active partnerships to shape solutions that achieve a sustained impact as well as align with the private sector partners’ long-term interests and growth strategies. Guided by our 2020-2025 Regional Development Cooperation Strategy (RDCS), the private sector is central to the successful execution of the RDCS, not only as the main driver of economic growth and employment in the region, but also as a partner in development. USAID/SA seeks to significantly increase its engagement with the private sector across all sectors and ensure that there is strategic alignment between USAID development objectives and the objectives of the private sector, leading more scalable and sustainable development programs as resources are shared and leveraged.
COLLABORATING TO CREATE "WIN-WIN' SOLUTIONS
The private sector has a critical role to play in Southern Africa's development - not only as the driver of economic growth, but as partners in building more resilient communities and a more responsive democracy. USAID seeks to engage with private sector entities like yours as a dynamic source of ideas, innovation, expertise, advocacy, and investment. We invite you to partner with us to co-create “win-win” solutions that advance both your core business interests and Southern Africa's sustainable development. Working together, we can achieve more.
