USAID has been empowering local governments in Northern Uganda for decades - still struggling after 20+ years of conflict that the Lord’s Resistance Army led. Through the Northern Uganda Enhanced Local Governance, Infrastructure and Livelihoods (NUDEIL) program, we focused on building the capacity of seven district governments to ensure quality control and effective project completion of small-scale infrastructure projects that make a big impact.
