The United States, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), established the Agriculture Resilience Initiative - Ukraine (AGRI-Ukraine) to increase Ukrainian agriculture exports. Developed in partnership with Ukraine’s Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, AGRI-Ukraine targets immediate and strategic longer-term agricultural production and urgent export challenges, while also fostering the recovery of Ukraine’s wider agricultural sector. USAID has invested over $350 million in AGRI-Ukraine and leveraged more than $510 million from the private sector and fellow donors, and has set a total AGRI-Ukraine investment target of $850 million.
