The 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78) opened in New York on September 5, 2023, with High-Level activities scheduled for the week of September 18-22 during which hundreds of heads of state and government, ministers, bilateral and multilateral aid agencies, and civil society organizations convene to organize and participate in side events and otherwise engage with the international community.
