On January 24, USAID celebrated with Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment’s (MPI) National Innovation Center (NIC) the achievements made through USAID’s Workforce for an Innovation and Start-up Ecosystem (WISE) project. Through the $2.2 million project, which began in 2021, USAID partnered with the NIC to expand digital skills within Vietnam’s labor market to improve the upward mobility and competitiveness of Vietnam’s workforce. USAID’s WISE project is one of numerous demonstrations of the enduring partnership between the United States and Vietnam in support of the Government of Vietnam’s goal of moving from lower-middle-income status to upper-middle-income status by 2030.
