USAID and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA APHIS) Collaborate to Improve Access to U.S. Markets for Vietnam’s Agriculture Exporters

On May 15-16 in Ho Chi Minh City, USAID and USDA APHIS conducted a workshop for Vietnamese agriculture exporters on U.S. import regulations and markets. More than 100 senior staff attended from Vietnamese enterprises, including small and growing businesses. Similar workshops will be held for exporters in the north and central regions of Vietnam.

The workshops supported Vietnamese small and growing businesses to penetrate the U.S. market, improving the competitiveness of Vietnam’s agricultural exports.
