Vietnam’s biodiversity is under serious threat from poaching and habitat loss, compounded by a lack of public awareness and support for wildlife conservation. On September 19, USAID supported the establishment of an environmental interpretation and wildlife rescue center in Cuc Phuong National Park, one of the country’s most popular and well-known parks. This center serves as a hub for outreach and education on conservation and wildlife rescue efforts within the park.

The new center will improve public awareness, foster responsibility, and encourage active participation in preserving Vietnam’s natural resources, setting an example for other protected areas to follow. [Biodiversity Conservation Activity]
