How can your company help fight COVID-19 in Peru?
Depending on the specific intervention, private sector assistance could take the form of:
- Expertise and skill sets (e.g., supply chain, data analytics, marketing/communications, technology and innovation)
- Use of company assets (e.g., locations for vaccinations, equipment)
- Collaboration with and/or funding of local or international organizations undertaking COVID response programs
- Provision of funding or donated items to government entities
Country-Specific Needs
Increasing Vaccine Access & Delivery
Vaccine Distribution, Planning, and Sites of Delivery
- Provide expertise and/or support on logistics, vaccine/vaccination supplies distribution, and administration sites
- Support outsourcing of, or provide donations for, various transportation modalities to distribute vaccines, especially in remote/rural areas
- Support procurement of, or provide donations for vaccines
Staffing, Training, and Administration
- Provide funding or in-kind support for staffing vaccination activities in remote/rural areas
Incentives and Messaging
- Design, generate, and/or distribute COVID-19 messaging and communications, through conventional and other media channels, that combat vaccine hesitancy, especially in remote/rural areas
Expanding Availability of Tests, Therapeutics, and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Supply Availability and Logistics
- Support procurement of molecular diagnostic testing equipment, consumables (e.g., reagents), and sequencing
- Provide on-site testing in workplace settings, border crossings, private pharmacies, and in remote/rural areas
- Provide technical assistance and/or support for planning procurement, operation, and maintenance of oxygen supplies
- Support procurement of PPE (for frontline workers) and antiviral therapeutics
