The simplified amendment template is used to amend a Determination of Categorical Exclusion (DCE) or Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) to (1) add funds or time, but not new scope/entailed actions; and/or (2) incorporate a CRM screening for low risk activities. If there are any changes in scope, such as new or scaling up of activities, use the full IEE templates.
