JAKARTA – This week, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will host U.S. Graduate Fair 2024, an event for prospective graduate students featuring representatives from 17 leading U.S. universities, the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), the Fulbright Program, and the U.S. Embassy’s EducationUSA program.  The education fair will take place in Yogyakarta on July 18, in Jakarta on July 20, and in Surabaya on July 21.

U.S. Graduate Fair 2024, which USAID has organized jointly with the U.S.-Indonesia Society (USINDO), will provide prospective students and their families the opportunity to learn about graduate programs in the fields of health, public policy, business, and education, among others.  Attendees will be able to engage directly with university representatives and scholarship providers and will gain insight into the U.S. graduate education system, application procedures, and student life.

Participating universities include Arizona State University, Boston University, Carnegie Mellon University, Columbia University, Duke University, Georgetown University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Harvard University, John Hopkins University, Michigan State University, The Ohio State University, Pennsylvania State University, Princeton University, University of Illinois, University of Maryland, University of Michigan, and Yale University.

“The United States is committed to working with Indonesia to ensure that Indonesian students have the resources they need to achieve their academic and professional goals,” said Mohib Ahmed, the Acting Mission Director of USAID Indonesia.  “Graduate Fair 2024 will offer prospective students the opportunity to explore a diverse range of graduate programs and discover pathways to studying at world-leading U.S. universities.”
