We recognize individuals like Gulaiym Baltbaevna Kalykulova, who works as a volunteer in Kulundu, improving nutrition related knowledge and behavior of rural communities. USAID/Kyrgyz Republic’s Advancing Nutrition project has trained 4800 volunteers like Gulaiym to reach 211,650+ people in Batken, Issykul, and Jalal-Abad since 2020. Here’s her story.

In September 2022, Agro Kush LLC, with the support of USAID’s Future Growth Initiative, received a certificate of compliance with the requirements of the Food Safety System Certification 22000. Agro Kush is the largest and only industrial-scale poultry farm in the Kyrgyz Republic.
