COVID-19 Vaccine Readiness and Deployment in Mongolia
UNICEF, with the funding from USAID supports the Ministry of Health in deployment of COVID-19 vaccination. This activity is a continuation of the work done in supporting the Ministry of Health with COVID-19 vaccine rollout throughout the country including addressing vaccine hesitancy, providing equipment/supplies, and improving waste management practices. Additional support is being provided in the conduct of supplementary immunization activities for measles, mumps and rubella which was hampered during the pandemic and in strengthening social and behavior change communications for various health programs.
