Administrator Power will travel to Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt on November 11-12, 2022 to attend the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP27). While there, the Administrator will speak to the progress we have made over the last year in upholding our climate commitments and supporting our partner countries who are dealing with the impacts of climate change.
The Administrator will participate in events and bilateral meetings to discuss the global climate crisis and USAID’s commitment to mobilize more resources and advance efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and implement the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE).
