Charles Aycock is the Small Business Specialist for the Office of Small & Disadvantaged Utilization at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Charles joined USAID in 2019 from the General Services Administration, National Capital Region, OSDBU office. Charles worked as a Small Business Specialist at GSA on procurements within the Federal Acquisition Service(FAS) and Public Building Service (PBS).
Charles holds a Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Level One since 2015. As a Small Business Specialist in USAID OSDBU, Charles is the 8a SME and is assigned to the Africa Bureau, Southern Africa Missions, Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance(BHA) and the Bureau for Inclusive Growth, Partnerships & Innovation(IPI).
Charles started his federal career as a Business Opportunity Specialist at the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) with an assigned portfolio of 8a firms. Prior to his federal career Charles worked as Operations Manager for a non profit(501-C3) Small Business Incubator helping construction and speciality trade businesses do business with the federal government.
