Erica Carr is the Deputy Executive Secretary in the Executive Secretariat (ES).
Ms. Carr joined USAID in June 2009 and, most recently, was the Senior Advisor to the Director of Security for Operations in the Office of Security. Prior, Ms. Carr served as the Branch Chief for the Personnel Security Division and was also an Investigative Program Manager with the Office of Security.
Prior to joining USAID, Ms. Carr served as a Special Agent in the Office of Personnel Management, National Background Investigations Bureau, from 2007 until 2009, and as a Special Agent for the Department of Defense, Defense Security Service, from 2002 until 2007.
Ms. Carr is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice. She is also a graduate of the U.S. Department of Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
