IMPACT

  • Since 2016, USAID/Tunisia has helped educate over 2 million voters, partnering with civil society organizations to carry out civic and voter campaigns. This work has helped increase civic participation, especially among women, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups.
  • USAID/Tunisia has recruited and trained over 5,000 youth across the country as local leaders who successfully advocate with municipal leaders, the private sector, and local CSOs to address youth priorities. Through youth advocacy, USAID has reached over 75,000 young people who benefit from increased access to resources through 125 refurbished and equipped safe spaces and a more concrete understanding of civic engagement.
