USAID and Harvard Medical School collaborated with Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy to develop and pilot a curriculum integrating the teaching of clinical skills and professional physician standards. Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy has grown from a USAID beneficiary to become a champion in locally-led reforms, training highly-skilled physicians.
This pilot program will be expanded to medical universities across Vietnam to better equip doctors for meeting Vietnam’s evolving healthcare needs.
