USAID Celebrates Vietnamese Women’s Day. In celebration of Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, USAID organized a musical event where 290 women and men with disabilities gathered in Quang Nam, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue to showcase their talents. For many women, it was their first time performing publicly, overcoming self-doubt to share songs, dances, skits, and traditional folklore.

USAID’s support has established eight clubs for women with disabilities across these three provinces, creating a platform for women to share their stories, inspire one another, and work toward greater inclusion and empowerment of Vietnam’s disability community. [INCLUSION]
