The Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam is a time for unity, family, and tradition, with a special focus on celebrating children's happiness and well-being. Unfortunately, children with intellectual and developmental disabilities often have limited opportunities to participate in traditional cultural events. On September 7, USAID organized the “Under the Moon’s Glow” celebration in Thang Binh District, Quang Nam Province, specifically for these children. The event brought families together to enjoy physical and artistic activities, including the lion dance, lantern-making, and a lantern parade.
Increased societal inclusion for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities helps improve their quality of life. [INCLUSION I]
