From August 21-22, USAID organized a review of the two countries’ Border Health Quarantine Agreement. Representatives from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, International Organization for Migration Cambodia, and Vietnam’s Ministry of Health attended to discuss strategies to strengthen a multi-sectoral approach to pandemic preparedness, including prevention, detection, and responses to zoonotic diseases.
Improving collaboration between Vietnam and Cambodia strengthens both countries' capabilities in managing transnational public health threats. [One Health]
