Based on USAID’s experience in partnerships, we have developed a straightforward collaboration process to co-create solutions with businesses and other private-sector entities that foster business success and achieve sustained development impact. This process is operationalized through an open invitation to businesses and other private sector entities to collaborate with USAID, officially named the Private Sector Collaboration Pathway Annual Program Statement (PSCP APS).

USAID Missions, Bureaus, or Independent Offices (MBIOs) may issue a more specific call for particular types of collaboration to address select geographies, priorities and/or objectives. These more specific calls are known as Addenda.

All current Addenda to the Private Sector Collaboration Pathway (PSCP APS) are posted to Grants.gov and can be found below.

If your organization is interested in pursuing addenda opportunities that are published under the Private Sector Collaboration Pathway, please read the addendum carefully and follow the instructions set forth in the addendum.

The Private Sector Collaboration Pathway builds on the strengths of its predecessor, the Global Development Alliance (GDA) APS, while providing new flexibilities and user experience improvements.  Everything that was possible under the GDA APS is now possible with the Private Sector Collaboration Pathway. Hence, the GDA APS will no longer be available after August 31, 2023. In the meantime, please also check the GDA APS Addenda page for specific GDA collaboration opportunities issued by USAID Missions, Bureaus & Independent Offices. For any questions related to addenda to the GDA APS, please email gda@usaid.gov.

Advance USAID/Egypt’s Development Objectives in the Areas of Governance Reform, Social Equity, Inclusive Economic Development, and Key Cross-cutting Priorities

USAID/Egypt seeks to advance a robust private sector engagement (PSE) approach to addressing some of Egypt’s greatest development challenges. PSE will be complemented by separate but equally important efforts to create a better operating environment for businesses and position them to drive the economy forward. Current USAID programs and projects (“activities”) have ongoing collaboration with private sector entities to achieve greater development scale and long-term impact in areas that correspond to the government’s strategic priorities. These areas include but are not limited to policy reform, scalable rural energy, pro-poor services, pro-poor financial products, women and youth empowerment, employability and workforce development, trade promotion, tourism, water and agriculture, climate change, and family planning. Learn more here.

CREATING PRIVATE SECTOR-LED ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR A HEALTHY, WELL-EDUCATED POPULATION AND IMPROVED WATER SECURITY, CITIZEN-STATE TRUST, AND PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN AND YOUTH IN JORDAN

This addendum seeks to develop innovative solutions to development challenges through partnerships with local and international private sector firms operating in Jordan to align with the goal of Jordan’s CDCS, which is, “Jordan advances its self-reliance by creating private sector-led economic opportunities for a healthy, well-educated population, improving water security, increasing citizen-state trust, and reducing barriers for women and youth.” Learn more here.
