JAKARTA – This week, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will host an Internship and Career Fair at Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place and @america in Jakarta. The event, “Empowering Futures, Connecting Opportunities,” will be held on September 20, 2024.
“U.S. companies in Indonesia are investing in their employees and in the Indonesian workforce, through large-scale training and capacity building efforts. This Internship and Career Fair will give job seekers the opportunity to interact with industry professionals working at U.S. and Indonesian companies, USAID’s international and local partners, to boost their employment chances with all of these innovative businesses,” said U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia Kamala S. Lakhdhir.
The Internship and Career Fair is organized by USAID in partnership with the American Chambers of Commerce in Indonesia (AmCham) and the Ministry of Education and Culture Research and Technology and implemented by Arizona State University. The event will offer students, recent graduates, and other job seekers the chance to explore a wide range of internship and career opportunities. More than 40 companies and organizations, including USAID programs, other development partners, and private businesses, will be present at the event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with human resource professionals and industry leaders for career counseling and panel sessions. Mock interviews and resume reviews from professional reviewers will also be offered.
