Today, Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman and White House Deputy National Security Advisor Daleep Singh co-hosted a meeting with philanthropies and global thought leaders to discuss a range of opportunities to secure and contribute to a robust, energized, innovative, and well financed Pandemic Fund. The meeting was co-hosted with Pandemic Fund co-chairs Dr. Chatib Basri, Indonesia’s former Minister for Finance and Rwanda’s Minister of Health Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana, as well as the Pandemic Fund Secretariat.

Deputy Administrator Coleman called on philanthropic leaders to catalyze the Fund’s crucial work through new support and aligned investments, reinforcing a target of at least $100 million toward achieving the Pandemic Fund’s resource mobilization target of at least $2 billion in new direct funding and a larger amount in co-financing and co-investment over two years.
