USAID Administrator Samantha Power traveled to Nepal in February 2023 to reaffirm the United States’ commitment to supporting the Government and people of Nepal as Nepal works toward middle income country status, implements its ambitious reform agenda to prove to its citizens that democracy delivers, and ushers in a new era of economic prosperity through sustainable foreign and domestic investment.
