August 30, 2023, Dushanbe, Tajikistan – USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator (DAA) of the Bureau for Asia, Änjali Kaur, will travel to Tajikistan to reaffirm the U.S. government’s commitment to inclusive economic growth, food security, climate change, and resilient societies in the country.
During her three-day trip, taking place from August 30 to September 1, DAA Kaur will visit USAID-supported project sites in Dushanbe and Vahdat. DAA Kaur will meet with government officials and partners as well as explore USAID interventions in the fields of climate change, water, food security, gender equality, maternal health, and tuberculosis in Tajikistan.
