The Summit highlighted the alliance with HP and Worldskills through the “BeChangeMaker” award. The 2022 Global BeChangeMaker Grand Prize winner, YALI alumni and the founder of Happy Pads Kalkidan Tadesse, attended the Summit with her sister and co-founder Wubit Tadesse. During the event, the two met and introduced First Lady Jill Biden during one of the Summit's many events.
During the Summit, USAID’s Youth Division announced YALI’s partnership with the BeChangeMaker Africa Initiative, jointly sponsored by HP, Inc. and WorldSkills International to support young social entrepreneurs.
