In a continuing effort to highlight environmental champions, we celebrate the innovation and ingenuity of 26-year-old woman entrepreneur and USAID YALI RLC Alumna Martela Vânia Uetela who established a company to help a friend who lost his leg in a car accident find a suitable prosthetic. That business now not only helps more than 700 amputees in Mozambique and Angola but also contributes to a cleaner coastline along the Mozambique beaches.
