Meet Fatima, one of the more than 600 community volunteers trained and deployed by USAID/funded Systems, Health and Resiliency Project in Yemen, implemented by JSI. Fatima and other volunteers help raise awareness on maternal and newborn danger signs, healthy nutrition behaviors for mothers and children, and the importance of child vaccinations, reproductive health, and family planning. As a result, more than 390,000 women have received life-saving health information from community reproductive health volunteers.
